The European Humanities University survives and flourishes thanks to the leadership of the Government of Lithuania, which helped EHU preserve academic freedom by relocating to Vilnius from Minsk, and the ongoing support of donors.

To support the university, the European Commission established the EHU Trust Fund, which processes donations to EHU from governments and other sources. The EHU Trust Fund is administered by the Nordic Council of Ministers, which itself is a major donor and works to secure financial support for EHU.
The US-based non-profit organization Friends of EHU promotes support for and donations to EHU, especially in the United States. A similar organization, the Europäische Humanistische Universität Förderinitiative, e.V., has recently been established in Germany to secure support for EHU there. Both organizations welcome new members interested in helping advance EHU's mission. For more information about membership, please contact EHU's Development Office or follow the preceding weblinks.
EHU wishes to acknowledge the following donors who have contributed substantially through financial and in-kind support to its ongoing mission of providing young people from Belarus and the region with the education they deserve.
