Reduced Tuition

Thanks to generous donor support, students who are citizens or permanent residents of the Republic of Belarus are admitted to EHU at reduced tuition. For some, university tuition grants cover tuition entirely. Others receive additional tuition discounts. Grants are awarded based on the results of entrance examinations.

Research Projects Competition

A Research Projects Competition is organized twice per year. EHU students enrolled in all academic programs and forms of study are eligible to apply. An applicant may be awarded up to EUR 600 in financial aid and is expected to conduct the proposed research project or organize an academic event.

Scholarships

Each year EHU provides scholarships to the most outstanding students who are citizens or permanent residents of the Republic of Belarus. The scholarship amounts to EUR 2000 per year.  Fourteen scholarships will be provided to students admitted to high residency undergraduate programs and Graduate program International Law and European Union Law (continuing university degree) students in 2013-2014. Scholarships are based on academic achievement.

EHU students are also eligible to apply for a number of named scholarships, including the Vladimir Fours, Valery Lobko, and Mikhas Straltsou scholarships.

High residency students who are not citizens or permanent residents of Belarus are eligible to apply for a Vladimir Fours scholarship. Vladimir Fours was a scholar, and a professor of EHU. The scholarship amounts to EUR 2000 per year.

Emergency Fund

The EHU Emergency Fund is established in order to:

1. Cover additional costs of the EHU caused by accepting qualified Belarusians for study at EHU as means of continuing their studies for obtaining a degree.

2. Provide scholarships for EHU students who are expelled from Belarusian Universities or otherwise not able to study for political reasons

The Emergency Fund exists thanks to the generous support of EHU’s donors.
