Foreign Language Center

The mission of the Foreign Language Center (FLC) at the European Humanities University is to support the learning and teaching of foreign languages at the University.

EHU students study three of the four languages taught at the FLC as part of the core curriculum: English, French or German, and Lithuanian. Along with the University courses in the most popular languages, FLC provides online courses for the public.

FLC’s teachers apply new, effective, and interactive teaching methods that motivate students to better learn foreign languages, and thus take part in a multilingual European society.

FLC staff is currently composed of eight full-time teachers from Belarus, Lithuania, and Poland, and part-time teachers are available for all languages. Each year, a native-French speaker from the French Institute teaches a class in the language to EHU students.
