As an undergraduate student at EHU, you have the option of either residing in Vilnius and attending classes on campus (enrolling as "high residence" students) or pursuing your degree without leaving home in "low residence" mode via distance learning. Master students pursue their degrees via a "blended learning" approach that combines face-to-face and online instruction.
For high residence undergraduate students arriving to Vilnius, it's natural to be apprehensive about life in a new place. There will be many new people to meet and the way you study will be different than in high school. EHU's approach, based on critical thinking, personal responsibility, and creativity, may be something new to you. Our suggestion is to remember that everyone is in the same boat as you.
One of the best ways to learn about EHU is to visit the campus on an "Open Door Day." EHU opens its doors to prospective students in March, April, and May (please check our online calendar for upcoming opportunities). Visitors have the opportunity to tour the campus and meet staff, faculty, and students. Open Door Days also offer an opportunity to start the admissions process early. Prospective students can take admissions tests while visiting the campus.
