On December 7-10 European Humanities University (EHU) Center for German Studies invites to the presentations of the outcomes of the workshop on comic books drawing. Public presentations will take place in Kaunas, Vilnius, and Klaipėda.
After the workshop held by the Berlin-based comic artist Mawil, the works of 4 young artists, among whom are EHU students, were collected to one book. Mawil himself gave an excerpt of his famous book “Kinderland”. Its editor Dr. Felix Ackermann wrote: “...the artists of this project focus on the question of how ... larger stories are told in private. They (participants) explored narrative open ends of what is told and not told in their own family, in order to rethink the XX century from a somewhat different point of view…”
The comic book “Drawing the XX Century” will be presented:
In Kaunas – December 7 at 6.30 pm in the Comic Center, established by the institution Kitokia Grafika (Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. 68)

In Klaipėda – December 10, 2016, TBA
