EHU invites to the seminar “Historical Memory: from the Past into the Future”

On September 23 Association of Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe along with Lithuanian Institute of History, European Humanities University (EHU) and Adam Mickiewicz Institute are hosting a seminar “Historical Memory: from the Past into the Future” in Vilnius.

The seminar is aimed at analysis of the current state of the historical memory in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe. A formal part of the meeting consists of the following sessions:

NB! In order to participate in the event, please proceed with the online registration. The seminar will be held on September 23 from 10 am untill 7:30 pm in room 110 of the Lithuanian Institute of History, located at Kražių g. 5 in Vilnius.

The reports will be followed by the coffee break discussions. In the list of invited experts are the lecturer of the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of the Vilnius University Vytis Jurkonis, journalist Pranas Morkus and founders of the Moscow School of Civic Education Lena Nemirovskaya and Yury Senokosov. EHU President Prof. Anatoli Mikhailov will make a welcome speech on the seminar.
