On July 6-7 European Humanities University (EHU) Governing Board (GB) met in Vilnius to examine the latest EHU developments, and to discuss future prospects of EHU enhancement.


It’s a common knowledge that if you want to learn a foreign language you need to practice daily. Nothing can be more useful than practicing with the native speakers. Thanks to the financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the European Humanities University (EHU) students had a wonderful chance to study Lithuanian language in “Laba diena!” summer school, which took place on July 3-14 in Vilnius.


The “First Year Seminar: Introduction to Humanities” is the essential element of the European Humanities University (EHU) Core Curriculum, which was developed in collaboration with Bard liberal arts partner network and introduced into EHU curriculum starting from AY 2016/17.


On July 7 the European Humanities University (EHU) Graduation ceremony took place in St. Catherine’s Church in Vilnius. This year EHU bestowed 171 Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas. Hence the overall amount of the EHU graduates since University’s re-establishment in Vilnius reached the benchmark of the 2124, mostly Belarusian, alumni.


On July 8-10 the Academic Department of Social Sciences and the Academic Department of Humanities and Arts of the European Humanities University (EHU) held an international workshop dedicated to further development of the EHU liberal arts-inspired Core Curriculum.
