EHU Alumni again among Top 30 Belarusian entrepreneurs

Every year Belarusian business portal Probusiness.by and Strategic and Economic Development Agency form Top 30 under 30 list of most promising young Belarusian entrepreneurs. Once again the names of European Humanities University (EHU) alumni in Top 30 list prove the effectiveness of liberal arts education model of the Belarusian university in exile in Vilnius.

While ranking young Belarusian entrepreneurs, existing achievements, prospects for future growth and capitalization of respective companies were calculated. Moreover, the possibility of scaling the businesses for a global marketplace was taken in the account. It is worth mentioning, same as in 2015 Top 30 most promising Belarusian entrepreneurs features EHU Alumni, who successfully apply skills and competences, gained during degree studies at EHU.

Vadzim Radzivil (25) holds Bachelor’s degree from the “International Law” program, Class 2014. He is engaged in development and production of the R-NOX radiation dosimeters. His startup team grew from 5 to 20 members as a result of successful business model. Vadzim’s technology allows to carry out measurements of background radiation and synchronize data with smartphone as well as to map out radioactive contamination. Vadzim’s company is based both in Belarus where project development is located, and in Lithuania where marketing team is located. EHU Alumnus believes, in future this technology will be in demand among larger enterprises like forestries and nuclear power stations.

For the 2nd year in a row Top 30 list of the most successful Belarusian entrepreneurs features EHU alumnus Uladzislau Androsau (28), who graduated from EHU bachelor and master programs in the field of cultural heritage and tourism. Uladzislau has established two companies operating in the sector of medical tourism. His company MedTravelBelarus was the first company of its kind in Belarus and annually provides treatment in Belarusian clinics for more than 700 customers from abroad. Moreover EHU alumnus develops the outbound medical tourism. Via his another  medical tourism operator Elite Med Belarusians have an opportunity to improve their health in European SPA resorts or receive medical checkups, treatment, and rehabilitation in foreign clinics. Today Uladzislau is the leading expert in the medical tourism in Belarus. In 2014 he received EHU Distinguished Alumni Award.
