EHU joins Cumulus Association of Universities and Colleges of Arts, Design, and Media

On June 2, the General Assembly of Cumulus made a decision on the acceptance of the European Humanities University (EHU) together with 14 other universities and colleges to the Association.

Cumulus was founded in 1990 and currently unites 257 members from 54 countries. Cumulus activities aim at promoting cooperation among universities and colleges, which specialize in arts, design, and media. Cumulus assists the implementation of global educational and research projects. It is a forum for partnership and transfer of knowledge and best practices in teaching design and media specialists.

University graduates in the field of design and media face the challenges of the global economics and labor market. Internationalization of study process is an important step in adapting EHU study programs to the constant changes in social, cultural and economical perspectives. This can be achieved by EHU’s active participation in Cumulus events, where the standards of design education are formulated in cooperation with state, public and commercial institutions.
